Pensioners and families of people with disabilities held a new protest on Wednesday at the Congress demanding an increase in pension income and benefits for the disability sector. "People are dying, they no longer have a home, they no longer have medications, they no longer have anything," he expressed in statements to the Argentine News Agency. Along the same lines, he stated that, together with family members and other service providers, they appeared before the Ministry of Health, met with the new interim head of the National Secretariat for Disability, Alejandro Vilches, and "with all the authorities of the superintendence." "They say that the Ministry of Economy is not releasing the funds," he said and added that one of the initiatives being discussed is to set up an "indefinite camp" to "show the reality." For the protests, the Ministry of Security deployed a strong operation with a police cordon to prevent street closures in the vicinity of the Congress. "Repress and beat people with disabilities who are doing nothing?" Federal Police and Gendarmerie officers participated in the operation. Family members of people with disabilities, service providers, and transport operators in the area requested the national government to settle the debts in both the Incluir Salud program and PAMI, in many cases which have been pending since September 2025. Daniel Macizo, president of the Union of Transporters of the Province of Buenos Aires (UTBA), questioned the management of President Javier Milei and demanded that "the funds be released" to cancel what is owed. "We are asking them to pay for the Incluir Salud program. They are all crazy," he concluded.
